Our Client, a leading Pharmacy Group, is recruiting for a superintendent pharmacist, who will be primarily located in Dublin but will be required to travel to other Pharmacies around Ireland.
As the Superintendent Pharmacist, the key objective will be to ensure regulatory compliance
across all company-owned pharmacies, implementation of Health Promotion and Training plan, along with management of associated budgets. The Superintendent pharmacist is also a data controller for all company-owned pharmacies.
This role is both office and dispensary based, with the successful candidate working 4 days per week in the South Dublin offices and 1 day per week on the road.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Management of the chains QMS system including an implementation of all policies
*Error management, within a culture of continuous improvement.
*Dealing with customer complaints, both formal and informal.
*Working with internal and external teams to develop a culture of patient-focused
*Ensuring that all valid pharmacy claims the group under each of the States¿ drug
*Develop a relationship with IPU Contract Administration Team to ensure you are
*Ensuring all marketing and promotional activity is in line with principles of data
*Management of data access requests.
*Management of pharmacies data protection registration.
*Ensuring all pharmacies achieve health promotion targets
*Research and development of potential health services for both pharmacy
*Provide monthly reports on the above actions for review by the board and Business
*Planning training events
*Working with HR to ensure accurate training log maintained for all employees.
*Review OTC training manual and update as required
*Work with stakeholders to develop training programmes.
*Responsible for data protection.
Any other duties as required, such as:
*Management of KPI's
*CPD for pharmacists
*Management of rosters and annual leave for pharmacists.
*Pharmacy degree and at least five years post registration experience.
*Retail pharmacy experience essential.
*Nursing home experience desirable but not essential.
*Strong IT skills, completion of ECDL (or similar) desirable.
*Excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to motivate a team
*Organised and flexible with a proven ability to multi-task successfully
*Business acumen and excellent problem-solving ability
*Ability to build strong internal relationships with the pharmacy team
*Required to be flexible, weekend work may be required.
