Head Hunt International is currently looking to recruit an ambitious, confident, and qualified Speech Pathologist.
Position Title: Occupational Therapist
Employment Status: Full time
Salary Range: $70,000 + superannuation
The position is responsible for multi-disciplinary Allied Health services in the delivery of culturally appropriate Speech Pathology to the Melbourne community, including pediatric, adolescent and Adult caseload assessment and treatment for:
*Dysphasia screening and rehabilitation
*Problems expressing ideas, thinking of words, using inappropriate words, forming sentences.
*Difficulty understanding what I said
*Underlying problems with reading and writing.
*Difficulty producing sounds and speaking clearly.
*Stuttering problems with flow of speech.
*Delayed or disordered language development.
*Specific language impairment.
*Social use of language and communication, behavior design and use of communication Aids.Assesment and management of swallowing problems .Provide education to Clients and Families.
The role will entail outreach service delivery from clinic-based and community-based settings to Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
*An interest in working with children on the Spectrum.
*Full Speech Pathology Australia registration required
*High level of organisational skills and professional manner
*Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
*Current national police check & First Aid Certificate &WWC
*Passion for helping people of all ages and ethnicity, including people with disabilities
*Capability to work with all stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for your client
*The desire to be challenged and further progress your career
*Demonstrated experience working autonomously within your role
*Excellent time management & problem-solving skills
