Risk Assurance and Audit Specialist German
This full time and very progressive Dublin based German Speaking job will see you working directly for one of the World's largest most established and successful Insurance Companies.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Chief of Internal Audit in providing independent assurance over the Firms governance, risk management and control processes
Reporting to Internal Audit Senior Management while working with all management, the successful applicant will support the Chief of Internal Audit in providing independent assurance over governance, risk management and control processes. In addition, the applicant will support the Business in a control framework programme. The successful candidate must be fluent in German.
*Gaining a thorough understanding of current and emerging governance, risk management and control processes associated with the assigned business areas;
*Assisting in audits and other reviews within agreed timescales, that will support the audit opinion in a manner that is consistent with Internal Audit's standards, methodologies and processes;
*Building effective business relationships with business managers during audits, an essential input to executing the work in a reliable and collaborative fashion and to sharing best practice;
Preparing high quality written reports on relevant governance, risk management and control issues and communicating these to Management, agreeing action plans and tracking such issues for resolution with agreed timelines;
*Carrying out ICOFR testing, and other ICOFR-related assignments, within agreed timescales to support annual submission for ICOFR.
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following:
*A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CMIIA, ACCA) or working towards same
*Experience in executing risk based assurance work, preferably in a Life Assurance company, Investment Management or other financial services;
*Experience in ICOFR or similar control testing work would be an advantage but not a requirement;
*A good understanding of risks facing the Life Assurance industry;
*Strong work ethic along with ownership for all deliverables;
*Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity;
*Highly motivated with strong commercial awareness;
*Strong planning skills and delivery focussed;
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is initially a 12-month contract with benefits and a salary of between 26 and 29,000 D.O.E
