Restaurant Manager job opportunity in hotel restaurant in Dublin South
To ensure the smooth running of the department. To manage and supervise the restaurant staff in the running of the Restaurant and help create a successful, efficient restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere.
*To hold weekly briefings with your department.
*To carry out a monthly stock- take of all restaurant delph, cutlery and glassware
*To ensure all HACCP Guidelines are met in the operation of the restaurant.
*To ensure rostering reflects level of business and is done by Friday evening. To
monitor the level of staff operationally and correct where wrong.
*To implement training matrix to cover all staff and aid their progress with the
*To ensure the restaurant's financial systems are analyzed and any issues rectified
*To work closely with front of house to ensure up selling is being done.
*To implement and follow promotional ideas for the restaurant.
*To ensure menu tasting and briefing are done daily.

experience is had by all.
*To ensure a 4 star service is received at all times.
*To deal with all compliments and complaints.
*To follow rigidly all HR policies and procedures.
*To ensure that all training records are maintained and updated at all times and to
identify training needs.
*To control and monitor all staff on duty ensuring all duties are being fully carried
out in accordance with Company Procedures.
*To maximise staff productivity and encourage staff motivation by helping to create a
positive working environment.
*To carry out our customer relations policy ensuring that we maintain 4 Star
standard at all times.
*To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents or damage in the
