Remuneration: €57,987 - €68,285
The post will involve 3 integrated but distinct roles:
It is envisaged the post will offer rapid access medical assessment of acutely unwell older persons from acute hospital or community pathways, those at risk of hospital admission or those with increasing frailty that may require admission.
This post will involve offering Triage & Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment for referrals from Long Term Residential Care Facilities (LTRCFs) in Kerry.
This post will offer early Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment of older persons who present as an emergency to University Hospital Kerry.
*MRCP, MRCGP or equivalent is required.
*Minimum 12 months experience at Registrar level in General/Geriatric Medicine
*IMC registration with the Irish Medical Council essential
*The candidate must have IELTs (7.0 overall score) or OET test (B overall) passed.
*Irish or UK experience preferred, not essential.
