On behalf of our client, we are seeking a National Sales Manager.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Group Marketing Director of Sales & Marketing to promote this successful nationwide hotel group.
To work in conjunction with the Group Sales and Marketing Director, to increase revenue and maximise yield within the conference segment of rooms, conference, banqueting, room hire and food and beverage, ensuring budgeted sales, average room rates and occupancy in both rooms and catering are met.
To promote and market the Hotel Group in the national market. To raise the profile, to retain and maintain existing business, develop new business, resulting in increased room sales.
To plan and organise a schedule of sales appointments to existing and new business customers within the Irish market
To plan specific sales activities within the Irish Pharmaceutical, Financial and IT sector for conferences, meetings, social events
Management of key accounts for the group
Sales and target driven
Ability to close contracts and understand customers needs
Strong researching skills to target new business (from lost business, events at competitors, online/print media research about potential conferences within the Irish Association market and social events )
Ability to work independently with good time management skills
Must be a car owner with a full clean driver's license
