Job Description

Legal Executive Commercial Litigation
One of Ireland's leading law firms focusing on Banking and Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Employment, Financial Services, Insurance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution among others is currently seeking a Legal Executive in Commercial Litigation for a full time permanent positions in Dublin with excellent prospects, salaries and benefits as well as the prestige of working with one of the professions leaders.
Responsibilities
Collect information for the preparation of legal documents.
Analyse, research and summaries legal information
Draft and issue correspondence, Summonses, Civil Bills, Motions, Affidavits and other court documents and pleadings.
Liaising with relevant third parties including Counsel, the Courts Service, solicitors for defendants etc.
Assist in regular reporting to clients.
Keep track of relevant developments in the law and practice relevant to enforcement work.
Assist in regular billing.
Create briefs and books of papers for Court.
File & index paperwork.
Attend client meetings with supervising Partner/Solicitor.
Assist in file reviews.
Risk Management - comply with all of the Firm's policies and procedures; support Firm-wide risk management initiatives.
Adhere to the file review and closure process and ensure all open and in-active matters are reviewed and closed as appropriate.
Carry out such reasonable tasks as may from time to time occur.
Requirements
Diploma in Legal Studies. (Ideally)
A minimum of 4-5 years¿ experience as a Legal Executive in enforcement work with experience in judgement and possession proceedings.
Strong planning & organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise.
Ability to objectively analyse and interpret information from a variety of sources.
Ability to make sound and realistic decisions.
An ability to communicate effectively at all levels with our clients and the litigation team.
A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one¿s own initiative or as part of a team.
