DON Opportunity with an expanding nursing home Group in North Dublin
An a well established nursing home located in Dublin North which is part of an expanding nursing home group is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON). As a DON, you will be able to put your own stamp, introduce new ideas, manage staff and enjoy providing a top class service in this excellent Care Centre. This is an opportunity for a Nurse Manager who has already worked as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing or as a Senior Clinical Nurse Manager to take that next step in their career.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Registration on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the NMBI
Care of the Elderly & Management Qualification
Masters level Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years elderly care experience, which should be at management level
Excellent knowledge of the Nursing Home Industry due to previous roles
Have experience or qualification in Gerontology
Full understanding of the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People
Has worked with or has a knowledge of caring for people with dementia
Proven leadership ability & strong people management
Package:
Salary from €90,000 - €100,000 per annum depending on experience
Days - Monday to Friday
No weekends
Free parking on site
All meals provided
