The job in itself :
We are looking for Support Escalation Engineers to join our clients Support Team in brand new offices opening right here in Dublin, Ireland. You will be working on the most complex and challenging customer and partner issues and its the last step in Support before an issue gets escalated to Development.
On a daily basis you will:
Resolve escalated service requests
Own and track customer issues record, track, and resolve in a timely manner using our ticket tracking system
Mentor 2nd level engineers who escalated the ticket
Provide on-call support 24 x 7
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support work
Support experience at storage related company is desired
Strong technical troubleshooting and fault isolation n a multi-platform-system-vendor environment
Knowledge of operating systems such as VMware, Solaris, LINUX, and Windows with emphasis on OS tuning for SAN's
Understanding of Fiber Channel, IP networking/iSCSI
Development background a plus
