Job Description

Our client a PLC IT company require an expert solutions architect to join their rapidly expanding business
The Solution Architect will be responsible for the solution design based primarily around Cisco technologies but will include other technology partners
Role purpose:
Solution design based on Cisco technologies, primarily focused around Datacentre, Enterprise Networking, and Security.
Assist in developing new go to market propositions. Responsible for accurately building all Cisco bill of materials to meet the customer requirements.
Provide customer demonstrations or proof of concepts for Cisco technologies.
Work closely with the Sales teams to identify and successfully close business opportunities in each account by identifying/targeting key decision makers and positioning the appropriate Cisco solution.
Preparation of customer solution proposals and presentation of solutions to customers.
Additionally, you will be the Cisco technology leader and provide thought leadership and guidance, together with the primary point of contact with the vendor
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new solutions to help customer achieve business objectives and outcomes.
Identify Cisco product improvements or new Cisco products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Maintain outstanding customer service by adhering to organisation standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by achieving and maintaining relevant Cisco Sales accreditations. Attending Cisco educational workshops as required.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Candidate Profile:
Expert level understanding of the Cisco portfolio of products, primarily around DC, Enterprise Networks, and Security.
Must hold a valid CCIE certification, any other Cisco certifications are an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, client focused.
High level of commercial awareness and proven experience in business development
Strong presentation skills, particularly in a commercial environment
High energy levels and the ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines and to manage multiple businesses and project expectations.
A minimum of 7 years¿ experience in a consulting/presales role within an IT technology provider.
