Job Description

Our client, a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering and construction, is looking for a Product Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic plans for generating and driving new business. The successful candidate will manage the European sales for our Analytical tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate the Product Advancement Team Sales Go-To-Market vision and strategy.
- Develop and execute brand and region business plans in full alignment and support of the Product Advancement Team GTM strategy.
- Drive sales/marketing campaigns and be proactive in identifying new ways, sources and techniques for winning new business.
- Identify Channel Recruitment and development priorities. Drive Channel growth as appropriate for the region. Regular reviews of partner engagement plans.
- Manage a sales team of typically between 3 - 4 direct reports.
- Ensure every sales colleague has a clear fully aligned plan in place with appropriate tactics and goals defined.
- Establish an exceptionally strong 360 degrees' feedback team culture. Provide regular feedback to sales colleagues regarding their performance against their goals to ensure they are always on track or success.
- Develop in depth knowledge and understanding of each sales colleague, to be able to effectively inspire and motivate them at a personalized level.
- Coach and develop Sales Colleagues to effectively manage and develop a sales pipeline enabling reliable, predictable forecasting of business weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Coach and ensure full adherence to the Sales Process fully utilizing SAP Cloud for Sales (CFS) as a daily sales tool and reporting system to manage contacts, leads, all sales opportunities, and forecast.
- Undertake continuous regular pipeline and opportunity reviews using CFS
- Enable and provide detailed, reliable, predictable and accurate sales forecasting weekly, monthly, quarterly.
- Embrace "Digital Selling" and coach sales colleagues to fully utilize and leverage digital selling tools and techniques.
- Actively identify sales roadblocks and promptly take action to address or make appropriate recommendations to the senior sales management team to address.
- Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's products and services.
- Effectively manage sales team recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, talent development, successor coaching, sickness and leave.
- Establish strong effective working partnerships with cross functional teams.
- Periodically attend national and regional tradeshows/conferences.
- Maintain and submit weekly activity reports, reporting on weekly sales activities as directed by sales management.
- Less than 20% travel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of software sales experience required
- People Management experience required
- Excellent track record of establishing strong internal/external relationships and meeting/exceeding yearly quota
- Excellent problem solving in technical understanding of the client's requirements & challenges.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Like working with workflows and processes
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Capacity to interact effectively and professionally with broad spectrum of diverse employees, customers and partners
- Self-motivated with proven ability to plan and execute effective prospecting initiatives and sales strategies
- Experience with CRM systems as well as Microsoft Office is required
- Knowledge or experience with Structural analysis software, BIM and other AEC technology solutions a plus
