Job Description
They now have an exciting opportunity for a European Sales Manager. Your role will focus on developing and identifying opportunities to develop and expand new and existing sales channels, driving business, and growing market share and brand awareness.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinker, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, able to exercise good judgement.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for engaging, monitoring and developing relationships with key vendors and stakeholders within the organization.
Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Build sales in key European markets
Work with the Managing Director designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensures its strong presence
Develop existing importer relationships in key European markets.
Managing objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
Travel to support markets and promote the brands across the region.
Brand ambassadorial role at key trade shows and consumer events.
Responsible for reporting monthly sales figures from European markets.
Work closely with Merchandise & Marketing team to implement brand initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of work experience specific to Sales, Marketing and Commercial Strategies
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and ability to work effectively both alone as well as building a team
Ability to be creative and strategic in driving the business as position is performance driven.
Exceptional negotiation and management skills
Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in foreign languages is a definite advantage
Strong planning and organizational ability
Knowledge of the eye wear industry would be hugely beneficial.
