In partnership with its Client Headhunt International are exclusively looking to recruit a Multi site (4 sites) Creche Coordinator/Manager for a new and exciting role in the childcare industry.

Qualifications and Experience

An appropriate professional child care qualification. (Minimum Level 6 in Supervision in childcare, Preferably a Degree in Early childhood and care and Education)
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in managing a crèche facility with a minimum capacity of fifty children.
Proven people Management Skills.

Busy Kids Crèches require a Creche Co-Coordinator to direct and co-ordinate the management of the child care in accordance with The Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016,& DES and best practice, establish and maintain a standard daily care and activity in accordance with the best nation and international practice and within available resources. Coordinate the management of all staff, frontline and multi-disciplinary support service personnel in establishing and maintaining the standard as set out by Busy Kids Childcare and Child care regulations.
The position is based in the Midlands but travelling will be required to 4 sites so the week will be spilt for Office to on site locations.


Duties

Overall responsibility and management for the smooth operation of 4 Busy Kids crèches.
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and child protection All regulatory bodies under the child care umbrella such as Tulsa ,DES, Child Protection, Pobal, CCC.
Ensure that Child Protection legislation and policies are applied at all times and formulation of policies and the selection, introduction and development of information and other systems for the child care services.
Establish reporting relationships with crèche management, Financial controller, Human Resources.
To recruit crèche management, if necessary, and ensure that selected candidates are appropriately trained checked and in accordance with Busy Kids recruitment policies.
Assist the Child Protection Officer in ensuring that Busy Kids Child Protection Policy is updated and responsive to legal and organisational requirements in consultation with other staff members. With the Child Protection Officer, to train, or organise staff training on Child Protection issues in, and that crèche workers undertake training on working with child witnesses of domestic violence.
Exercise confidence in all matters concerning children, making all staff aware of their responsibilities in this area at all times including staff storage of reports and files.
Take responsibility for the development and implementation of staff education and training programmes.
Ensure that modern standards of child care are in operation and that regular monitoring of child care is undertaken.
Maintain good collaborative working relationships and communications with appropriate statutory, professional and voluntary community organisations.
