A Major Medical Devices Company in Galway, Ireland is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following post:


Job Role:

You will perform testing of drug component devices in a compliant and efficient manner. You will be responsible for performing routine analytical procedures and assisting in test method troubleshooting and non-routine analysis. You will support new and continuous improvement projects, and participate in other laboratory investigations as necessary. You will assist in the training and support of new analysts as required and communicate any deficiencies in GMP, safety or systems to the relevant personnel.
Proficient knowledge of analytical separations technologies such as LC and GC is required. You will support audit preparation and follow up and provide support for chemistry methodology, including OOS and OOT investigations, manufacturing investigations etc. You will liaise with other team members to ensure that the team objectives are met.



Level 8 Degree in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline and desirably with 3 years relevant experience.

A dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.

Participate in root cause investigations and assist in problem solving efforts for quality issues.

The ability to demonstrate self-motivation and pro-actively prioritize your work schedule is desired.

You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
